Factoid No. 1.
FACT: Listening to The Black Keys with dodgy headphones is actually kind of awesome. The crackly sound really works. Try it. I dare you.

Melancholy, Memories and Me
Another recycled essay from uni for you. Enjoy.
“You would have to have a steel heart if you weren’t moved by this song.” (http://www.bbc.co.uk/stoke/music/2002/10/paul_singles2.shtml) For a musical work to draw this sort of response, it must be something special. Massive Attack - Heligoland
These ten tracks (the eleventh is a remix so I’m disregarding it) of blissed out sounds are just begging to be the soundtrack of a bed-in love fest. I have a confession to make. Nestled between Something For Kate and Texas in my CD collection are two, yes two, albums by Take That. In my defence, one is a...

Salutations.
This is my first attempt at a blog entry so don’t judge me too harshly! I recently realised that my surroundings were beginning to resemble a bit of a rut. As I am such a big believer in being proactive, I now find myself trying to gather my thoughts about what interests me. I hope to entertain anyone who stumbles across this blog as much as possible. You will mainly be reading...
